  • YoungArts
    Check out the collaboration of Daniel Bernard Roumain and Lisa Armstrong"Little Boy Lost: One Child's Story of Life Behind Bars". Showing on May 20 at 7 p.m. at the YoungArts Campus, 2100 Biscayne Blvd, this collaboration is a documentary which tackles about youth incarceration featuring Damian Duncan a 20-year-old imprisoned youth from Allapattah. Notable performers for the show include the 2016 Young Arts Writing Winner, Simbaa Gordon and the 2017 winner of YoungArts' Cinematic Arts, NiloBatle.
  • Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami
    Don't miss out the show "Synergism: Ekaterina and Victor Khromin"at the Museum of Contemporary Art - North Miamiat 770 NE 125th St., North Miamion display through May 21. The show highlights the lively work of a husband and wife team from Miami.Admission is at $10. Now for the music lovers, delight yourselves with the free Jazz at Moca / Haiti Jazz Roots Projects. It is going to be a rain or shine performance outdoors on the 26th of May at 8:00pm.
  • Bossa Projects
    The "Woman Behind the Threads" is on show through June 2 at 4141 NE Second Ave. Building. This Bossa Projects highlight artworks which incorporated textiles and photography from artists Aurora Molina,Marina Font, Patricia Schnall Gutierrez and Karla Caprali.
  • Nina Johnson Gallery The "Ray Smith Studio" will be on display at Nina Johnson Gallery at 6315 NW Second Ave., Little Haiti through June 29. Emmet Moore, an artist from Miami acts as the curator for the show which unveils the collaborative art creations of the New York-based artist Ray Smith and his creative team from 2007 to 2012.
